YUKOS said it hoped in 2003 to reduce by half this year's large losses at Mazeikiu Nafta, Lithuania's biggest oil company, where it recently assumed management control. "We don't expect profits yet next year, but there will be a change for the better," Michail Brudno, YUKOS RM vice president and Mazeikiu chairman of the board, was quoted as telling reporters.
