In an exclusive interview with New Europe, Rohan Gunaratna, a professor of security studies at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies, Nanyang Technology University in Singapore, talks about the current crisis in Syria and Iraq.
Professor Gunaratna, who also heads the International Centre for Political Violence and Terrorism Research in Singapore, has interviewed terrorists and insurgents in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Yemen, Libya, Saudi Arabia and has written 15 related books.
