More Mexicans are leaving the US as the slow recovery of the US economy doesn’t make the migration to US a worthwhile option.
Pew Research Centre cited figures from the 2014 Mexican National Survey of Demographic Dynamics (ENADID) which indicated that from 2009 to 2014, 1 million Mexicans and their families (including U.S.-born children) left the US for Mexico. On the other hand, during the same period an estimated 870,000 Mexican nationals migrated to the US from Mexico.
