On Wednesday 29 June The United States senate gave its firm approval on a bill meant to serve as an aid to Puerto Rico’s drowning economy. After months of deliberation, the Puerto Rican Oversight Management and Economic Stability Act (PROMESA) has been approved, to the dismay of many of the American citizens on the island.
