Last week was marked by a lot of speculation regarding a high-level unemployment conference that is reportedly slated to take place on 6 October .
Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi had announced the conference had been postponed until the end of this year. Officials in France, however, ignored Renzi’s statement and declared the conference will actually be held on 8 October.
