The launch of an ambitious public-private strategy to end preventable deaths of women, children and adolescents, was announced on Saturday by the UN.
The Public-Private “Global Strategy for Women's, Children's and Adolescents' Health, 2016-2030,” has initial commitments of more than $25 billion for the next five years to provide life-saving treatments, from immunizations to perinatal care to the people in need.
