Ukraine governor resigns, alleges government is corrupt


The governor of Ukraine’s Odessa region announced his resignation on November 7. Mikheil Saakashvili, the former president of Georgia, blamed the government of deliberately trying to sabotage his regional reforms.

As reported by Kyiv Post online, Saakashvili, who became governor in May 2015, also accused the Ukrainian president’s inner circle of being corrupt.
