The UK economy could slip from the fifth to the seventh biggest economy in the world as the pound’s value has depreciated against the US dollar, which has shrunk the country’s gross domestic product according to a Price Water Cooper (PwC) report.

The report projects the UK’s growth at 1.6% for 2019, slightly lower than the 1.7% projected for France and substantially small than the 7.6% for India. In 2019, India is projected to emerge as the fifth largest economy in the world in 2019m, while France will remain in 6th place.
