The United Automobile Workers union announced in a letter Tuesday that all 36,000 hourly workers in the U.S. will join in a nationwide strike if Fiat Chrysler does not agree to a new contract by midnight Wednesday.
The letter came after US employees of Fiat Chrysler voted down the company's tentative extension agreement by 65 percent.
