TV show calls for a referendum in Bulgaria

A popular TV show in Bulgaria – the “Slavi's Show” – has collected 670 000 signatures calling for a national referendum related to electoral and political reforms. The petition was discussed in Bulgaria’s Parliament on Monday, February 8, 2016. Initiating the petition in November, the TV show managed to surpass the 400,000 signatures benchmark set by law.
