Turkish Parliament will attempt to pass EU visa requirements

Turkish daily, Hurriyet, reported that the Turkish Parliament is expected to vote today the last laws remaining to fulfil the criteria needed for the EU to approve a visa agreement with Turkey


The Turkish Parliament is expected today to pass the last laws needed to fulfill the 72 criteria necessary for the EU to consider granting Turkish citizens visa-free travel inside the Union. The deadline for the matter is on 4 May.
