At least 50 people were injured in the accident


An Amtrak train has derailed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, causing the death of five people and the injury of more than 65 people. According to the officials, six are seriously injured.

The Northeast Regional Train 188 was travelling from Washington to New York and derailed in a neigbourhood of Philadelphia about 9:30 pm Tuesday. According to CNN, the northeast corridor is the busiest passenger line in the country and the derailed train was carrying more than 230 passengers.
