More than 20 Nigerian girls and women who had been forced into prostitution in Spain were rescued by local police. Working together with authorities in Germany and Europol, police also arrested 24 human trafficking suspects, including members of the so-called Supreme Eiye Confraternity cult in Ibiza.
As reported by Nigeria’s Daily Post online, the women and girls had been lured to Europe by false promises of employment. But they were forced into prostitution.
