NUR-SULTAN, Kazakhstan - Kazakhstan's President Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev met with the State Secretary of Belarusian Security Council Stanislav Zas at the presidential palace Ak Orda in Nur-Sultan on 28 June.

Tokayev noted the great importance of the Collective Security Treaty Organization in ensuring peace and stability in the region. He stressed that Kazakhstan initially supported the candidacy of Belarus for the post of CSTO Secretary General.
