Anglo-Russian venture TNK-BP's Deputy CEO Maxim Barsky is leaving after less than two years in the role after losing shareholder support, news agencies quoted sources as saying on 21 October. TNK-BP appointed Barsky in November 2009 to succeed former CEO Bob Dudley, who was ousted in a shareholder battle a year earlier, but the company failed to promote him to CEO in January this year as intended.
