Threat level stays at 4/4 in Brussels metros closed

Metros, schools, and universities closed tomorrow 23 November. Grand Place is currently being evacuated.

Today, the Belgian Security Council met to review the security situation in Brussels and whether or not life would resume tomorrow. This weekend, security has been a 4/4 for Brussels and a 3/4 for the rest of Belgium. The Security Council determined that the metro system will remain closed, and that Brussels schools and universities will also be closed.

#Brussels in short: Top security alert and all related measures maintained. Tomorrow schools WON'T open.
