The Six days of Tsipras

The decision of Alexis Tsipras government announced in the early hours of yesterday, approved same day by the Parliament, has two (not three), possible interpretations.



The Greek government is in a desperate political position, and is looking for a solution at any cost; attempting to create a bargaining argument for the negotiation which is expected to resume in the beginning of the week. SYRIZA may put on the negotiating table the referendum, against the resumption of negotiations with better terms.
