Among the fifty thousand items of clothing that make up the Palais Galliera’s archives, Olivier Saillard, the director of Paris’ fashion museum, set apart Countess Greffulhe’s impressive wardrobe, which was donated to the Palais by her heirs between the 1960’s and the 1990’s, and decided to dedicate an entire exhibition entitled, La Mode Retrouvée: Les robes trésors de la comtesse Greffulhe (held till 20th March, 2016) to this elegant muse.
