The Western-backed Syrian National Coalition, which aims to replace the Bashar al-Assad government, praised Turkey for joining Saudi Arabia and Qatar in increasing military aid to opposition groups fighting the Assad’s regime.

As reported by Turkey’s English-language newspaper Today’s Zaman, the coalition’s new president, Khaled Khoja, thanked Turkey for helping to swing the pendulum in favour of the resurgent militants.
