Stoltenberg visits North Macedonia

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg praised North Macedonia’s journey towards European and transatlantic integration during a visit to Skopje on 3 June, where he is meeting with President Stevo Pendarovski, Prime Minister Zoran Zaev and the President of the Assembly Talat Xhaferi. He visited Tirana the previous day.
Stoltenberg highlighted that foreign investment in North Macedonia has increased more than threefold in the last year, and hailed the courage and determination shown by both Skopje and Athens to resolve those countries’ bilateral Name Dispute through the historic Prespes Agreement.
