SonaeCom may have to sell PT’s copper network


The government is seeking to retain a measure of control over Portugal Telecom (PT) SGPS’ traditional copper wire network whether or not the 10.7 billion Euro takeover bid by SonaeCom SGPS is successful, Diario Economico reported, citing a government source.
