Shareholders in Britain’s Sibir Energy approved at an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) on December 20 an increase in the company’s stake in Moscow Oil and Gas Company to 71 percent, the company said in a statement. The share of the British company will be increased by contributing 25 percent plus one share in OAO Evikhon, which is developing the Salym fields in Khanty-Mansiisk autonomous district together with Shell, to MOGC.
