Royal Dutch Shell is considering a role in capital intensive hydrocarbon projects in Russia, Chris Finlayson, Interfax quoted the head of Shell’s Russia office, as telling reporters. Russia will remain a country where Shell and companies like it are keen to work, given the size of the country’s hydrocarbon resources, in particular gas, Finlayson said.
