International companies that are prepared to advance the cause of green technology should be free to do so rather than feel restricted under current patent regulations, a conference in Brussels has heard.
Speaking during IP and Open Innovation Week, Kai Brandt, a patent attorney at German car manufactures, Audi, said that the scope is there for innovative companies “to base a business model on green technology, including sharing.”
