A baby in the US that was born with HIV is likely to have been cured from the disease, following less than a year of treatments. The baby started being treated for HIV within hours of birth. This the second successful case of tackling the disease, raising hopes about early treatment.
According to medical researchers, a 9-month-old baby who was born in Los Angeles, California with the HIV virus may have been cured. The baby has been undergoing treatments just four hours after her birth.
