Russians filmed fighting alongside government forces in Syria

For the first time a video footage shows Russians fighting Syrian rebels alongside pro-Assad troops.


A video showing Russian-speakers fighting Syrian rebels alongside President Bashar Assad's forces has been released, according to claims of a state-run Damascus television station and several reports.

The Times reports that the Russian-speakers were fighting rebels in Latakia mountains. A Russian armored car, BTR-82A, was spotted there firing at rebel positions.
