Russian oil exports sans CIS increase


Russian oil exports to outside the CIS in January-July 2002 amounted to 79.063 million tonnes, up 2 percent (by 1.565 million tonnes) from the same period last year. A total of 76.73 million tonnes of oil was exported through the Transneft system in the first seven months of the year, with 2.333 million tonnes being exported outside of the Transneft system, the Energy Ministry said.
