Russia vows to save the day in global energy market


Russia, the world’s largest gas supplier and second largest oil exporter, is concerned by the high crude oil prices fuelled by worries of supply from Iran and the unpredictability of the global energy market, and is calling for a joint approach to tackle energy security problems, a top Russian diplomat said last Thursday.
