The authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) have been urged to investigate instances of ill-treatment by the police following the publication of a new report into policing methods in the country.
The report, by the Council of Europe's committee for the prevention of torture (CPT), unearthed a “considerable number of credible allegations” against the police, including the use of mock executions, electric shocks and placing plastic bags over suspects' heads.
