Regional Governors call for higher involvement in migration decisions

Eleven regional leaders present a common position on the migration crisis.

During the summer, the migration crisis in the Mediterranean has reached unprecedented proportions as the improved weather has offered smugglers a chance to dispatch more people on the dangerous crossing.
