Mladen Antunovic, the head of Croatia’s state-owned LNG Croatia LLC, a company that builds and operates the infrastructure necessary for receiving, storing and regasifying liquid natural gas, announced that construction of a new unit on Krk island in the northern Adriatic off Croatia is scheduled to begin next year.
The terminal will be fully operative in 2019, according to a report by Ansamed, a media partner of the European Commission (EuropeAid).
