What might be different this time?

Facing declining turn out, a report by Federalist MEP Andrew Duff (ALDE, UK) made some suggestion that were taken up by the parliament. Two ideas were highlighted:

1. Put the logos of the pan-European political parties on the ballot paper.

However, the number of voters who would recognise the pan-European party’s names or logos is negligible.

2. The pan-European parties will select a candidate for European Commission president.
