Just after midnight, the Belgian federal prosecutor's told the press that 16 arrests have been made during today's operations. The mass action included 19 locations that were searched in operations that took place in the areas of Molenbeek, Anderlecht, Jette, Schaerbeek, Woluwe-St-Lambert, Forest in the Brussels region, and 3 locations that were searched in Charleroi.

Two shots were fired while a snack-bar was being searched in Molenbeek in an incident involving a vehicle that fled the scene....
