The Eurogroup meeting of Monday 7 November asked Greece to confirm”on paper and in writing” that the country will endorse and apply the agreement of 26-27 October that was struck in Brussels by the 17 heads of state and governments of the Eurozone to provide for a €100-billion reduction in Greek sovereign debt held by the private sector and also financial support for the country, with up to €130bn until it returns to the markets by itself, hopefully by 2014.
