According to an Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) report - a study of the global environmental outlook - urban air pollution will pose a major threat of premature death in the coming decades.
The OECD said that there could be 3.6 million premature deaths per year from exposure to particulate matter, most of them in the regions of China and India.
