OECD presents measures against global tax dodgers


The intention is to put an end to states tax erosion.

On Monday, the OECD presented a set of policy proposals designed to do just that. The program goes under the technical title Base Erosion and Profit Shifting Project (BEPS).

The measures proposed are designed to address the financial magic – “now you see it, now you don’t” – which allows multinational companies to avoid (rather than evade) to pay taxes.
