As of January 31, new rules aimed at easing the current liquids restrictions at EU airports will enter into force, allowing passengers to carry liquids bought in another airport onto a connecting flight. Under the new rules, duty-free liquids bought at airports outside the EU, or onboard non-EU air carriers will be screened but allowed onboard EU planes.
