The Netherlands could soon reintroduce the teaching of the official national anthem in schools, the Algemeen Dagblad daily published last week (AD).
Children will be required to learn to sing the anthem, as well as its meaning. This has been a campaign promise made by the Christian Democratic Party (CDA).
