NATO publishes countries’ defense expenditures

According to NATO’s report on Defence Expenditure of its countries (2012-2019) released on 25 June, in 2019, the United States made the largest single-country expenditures, $730 billion, followed by Britain, Germany, France and Canada.
NATO estimated that its member countries would spend on average 2.51% of their GDP in 2019 for defense.
According to the report, defense expenditures included personnel, equipment, research and development, and infrastructure expenses.
