The Malta Declaration agreed on February 3 by the leaders of the European Union member states was met with euphoria among Europeans, as regards the end of the migratory movement from Africa.
Gathered in Valletta, the leaders focussed on the problem of migratory flows from Africa in Libya. Italy, from its side, also signed an agreement with the UN-recognised government that is aimed at stopping migrants as well.
But it seems that the solution to the problem does not only lie in Libya.
