Moldova averts secessionist plot

According to a statement issued by Moldova’s police on Friday, the poorest country in Europe averted a plot for the creation of another breakaway republic. This time the pseudo-state would be centered in the city of Balti in the north of the country, that is, approximately 120 km from the capital Chisinau. The city is a mostly Russian-speaking.
