German Chancellor Angela Merkel appeared unsteady and visibly shaken under the hot sun on Tuesday during a welcome ceremony on Tuesday for Ukraine’s new President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Merkel could be seen shaking outside the German Chancellery as she tried to manage the situation.

She later told reporters at a joint news conference that she and Zelensky discussed bilateral issues and the Minsk peace process.

This is not the first time Merkel has been seen shaking under similar circumstances. In 2014, Merkel postponed a television interview at the last minute after reported weakness, with her spokesman said at the time she was able to carry it out later.
