German Chancellor Angela Merkel plans to call for a stronger European Union in a speech scheduled to take place tomorrow in London.  According to a German government official, Merkel may disappoint British Prime Minister David Cameron who has pledged to hold a referendum on the UK’s EU membership by the end of 2017 if he wins re-election next year, as Bloomberg reports.
