STRASBOURG - The European Parliament, led by the rapporteur Jerzy Buzek from Poland, may start the negotiations with the Council based on the Industry Committee’s text on the draft directive on the EU market for natural gas, the EP said in a press release on April 19.
According to the Directive, all gas pipelines from third countries into the EU must comply fully with EU gas market rules on EU territory.
