The European Parliament has adopted a non-legislative resolution calling for more changes to improve the EU-US Privacy Shield – a new framework for transatlantic data flows. The MEPs called on The EU Commission to go back to the negotiating table with the United States to remedy “deficiencies” in the protection for EU citizens’ data transferred to the US for commercial purposes.
