MEP: In need of refugee integration but not at the expense of vulnerable groups

Brando Benifei, an Italian member of the S&D group and rapporteur of the EP report “Refugees: Social inclusion and integration into the labour market” stressed that more resources are needed for the implementation of EU social policies


The EU needs to implement refugee integration programmes but not at the expense of vulnerable groups, such as the unemployed the disabled people and the large families, MEP Brando Benifei said in an interview with a European Parliament journalist.
