In Nizhny Novgorod, LUKOIL President Vagit Alekperov and the envoy of the Russian Federation President to the Volga Federal District, Igor Komarov, and Nizhny Novgorod Region Governor Gleb Nikitin discussed on 18  November the progress of major investment projects of LUKOIL in the region, in particular, construction of the residue conversion complex and the planned construction of the polypropylene production complex.

According to LUKOIL, the new projects once executed will make a noticeable contribution to strengthening the region’s industrial potential and improving its investment climate.

Based on the Cooperation Agreement concluded between the government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region and LUKOIL the Company will continue providing its support to charity projects in the region.

During his working visit to Nizhny Novgorod, Alekperov also visited the construction site of the residue conversion complex at LUKOIL-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez refinery, which is wholly-owned subsidiary of PJSC LUKOIL.
