EU Digital Agenda Commissioner Neelie Kroes has urged European countries to appoint digital champions, such as the UK's Martha Lane Fox, founder of lastminute.com.
Kroes said Fox was “doing a great job”at convincing UK adults to start using the internet, underlining it as one of priorities, with 30% of Europeans currently not online.
