Kerry: “People have been arrested very quickly” as Mogherini closes EU door if Turkey brings back death penalty

US State Secretary John Kerry has made a series of hints and comments at a joint press conference, as the Foreign Affairs Council breakfast, where Kerry participated for the first time, came to an end in Brussels.

“A lot of people have been arrested and been arrested very quickly,” underlined Kerry, tabling doubts over the tactics of the Turkish government, in terms of diligence and scrutiny.
