ASTANA - Kazakhstan's KazTransGaz has reached an agreement with PetroChina International Company Limited to increase the export of Kazakh gas to 10 billion cubic meters (bcm) per year from 2019, the press service of the company said on October 15, although the corresponding five-year contract was signed in Beijing on October 12.

Kazakhstan began to export gas to China on October 2017. Over this year, the volume of deliveries, according to Kazmunaygaz, amounted to five billion cubic meters.
